People gather here for all important events. These include ringing in the New Year, concerts, celebrations and demonstrations. You are in a place where modern history has actually been written and where something is constantly happening. The dominant feature of the upper part is the large statue of St. Wenceslaus against the background of the National Museum. You’ll find many restaurants, bars and shops here. Essentially everything you’d expect to find in the centre of a city. And you can reach the centre from the residence in just 6 minutes by foot.

Old Town Square

You couldn’t be more in the centre of historic Prague. People have been gathering here in the market place since the 11th century. With its sheer beauty, you won't know where to look first. What to take a photo of first. Where to sit in a restaurant garden and just admire everything around you. Were you impressed by Týn Church? And did you know that one tower is significantly thinner than the other? Or do you focus on the palaces and houses surrounding this area on all sides?

Prague Astronomical Clock

Get ready. The clock is ready to strike the full hour. The show you came here to see will start in a moment. People have gathered here to admire the mastery of the watchmakers and artists who created this astronomical clock since 1410. The colours of the astronomical dial, the moving statues on the whole the tower, and the apostles, who take turns passing by the small windows. This is why people from all over the world come here.

Dancing House

When you look at this house, you gain the impression that it has come to life. Architects Vlado Milunić and Frank O. Gehry set themselves the task of recreating the famous dance couple Ginger Rogers and Fred Astaire as a building. Prague residents were initially sceptical whether a building of this kind belonged in historical Prague. But the result is so natural and interesting that we can no longer imagine the Vltava embankment without it.

Prague Castle

It rises above Prague and somehow always naturally attracts your attention. It is the largest ancient and still inhabited castle in the world. Windsor Castle in England ranks behind Prague Castle in this regard. You can visit several palaces, churches, a cathedral with the coronation jewels and the resting place of Bohemian kings in the Prague Castle complex. That is Prague Castle. If you don’t visit the castle during your stay in Prague, you really can’t say you were ever here.

Embankment

Take a walk along the banks of the Vltava River. Sit down for coffee. Enjoy a glass of Prosecco. Or will you take a ride in a paddle boat and admire the beauty of Prague from the surface of the water? We recommend visiting the farmers' markets on weekends as well.
